Volunteer

We can undertake as many projects as we have volunteers who are interested in doing them! If you join CSP as a member, emails will keep you up to date with projects currently underway. Our progress to date has been accomplished thanks to cash donations, but also with incalculable support in the form of volunteered time and materials.

Volunteers are currently needed to:

• Gather and record historical information about Squirrel Point.
• Help show the light to organized groups.
• Assist with regular mowing, sumac clearing, and routine maintenance.
• Remove heavy debris (such as the old overboard discharge system).

In kind donations sought:

• Heavy-duty mowing equipment.
• Reproduction rights to artwork of Squirrel Point.

Looking to the future, we welcome those with interest in fund-raising, program design, and skilled craftsmen who might be able to contribute time and materials to restoration efforts. With three lighthouses located within the Town of Arrowsic (population 500), we have many local volunteers but sincerely welcome all additional hands.
